Both chill and energetic dreamy cinematic jamband based electronica, symphonic electronic adventures with quirky synths, chill hop beats, and spacey ambience. A unique blend of strings, contemporary drums, and retro futuristic synths. Instrumental electropop with a dramatic flair from Connecticut composer, producer, and instrumentalist Jeff Hines, aka Cheddr.

I composed and produced these songs while traveling North America for work after things opened up again after Covid. New beginnings in 2022 with This Year is Gonna Be Our Year and at the same time starting a new job in the post-pandemic world. I traveled frequently between the US and Canada while putting on the finishing touches, leading to the title: International.

Be Real, Be Present in particular marked a new path for me. I "premiered" this track at a "music festival" to a new audience at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. (I played it off of my phone for some strangers before a Grateful Dead concert). This may not seem like a big deal, but I walked up to these people, said I was a musician and asked them if I could "Play Red Rocks" by playing them my song. Intimidating for a bedroom producer not used to looking an audience in the eye. Scary and thrilling at the same time.

I spent many hours on planes and in hotels listening and tweaking each of these songs so they were beautiful, interesting, and unique all the way through.
